What is the braking principle of the swing hydraulic motor?

The working principle of different braking modes is different, and the details are as follows:

1. Select overflow valve circuit braking: this circuit can Hydraulic motor Double braking is completed and can play a buffering role. When the reversing valve returns to the neutral position, the hydraulic motor becomes a hydraulic pump under the action of inertia, and supplies oil to the overflow valve through the check valve on the high-pressure side (for the pump). The overflow valve blocks the impact pressure so that the motor brakes. The hydraulic pump can self suck oil from the oil tank through the check valve on the low-pressure side.

2. Braking with accumulator: an accumulator is installed near the inlet and outlet of the hydraulic motor to complete dual braking of the hydraulic motor. When the reversing valve returns to the neutral position, the oil outlet of the original motor gradually becomes high pressure because the motor turns into a pump. The accumulator on this side carries the oil discharged by the pump, and the accumulator on the other side can supplement oil.

3. Normally closed brake braking: operate the brake according to the two position hydraulic reversing valve. When the manual reversing valve is in the left or right position, the pressure oil enters the brake hydraulic cylinder through the hydraulic reversing valve, defeating the spring force to open the brake and make the hydraulic motor run. When the manual reversing valve is placed in the middle position, the hydraulic oil in the brake cylinder is drained back to the oil tank through the hydraulic valve and the manual reversing valve to brake the motor.

4. Step 2 of normally closed brake braking: add a one-way throttle valve between the oil outlet of the hydraulic pump and the brake hydraulic cylinder. When the manual reversing valve is shifted from the middle position to the left or right position, the pressure oil needs to enter the brake cylinder through the throttle valve, so the brake device is slowly opened so that the hydraulic motor can start stably. When braking is required, the manual reversing valve is placed in the middle position, and the oil in the brake cylinder is discharged back to the oil tank through the one-way valve, so that efficient braking can be achieved.
